Martin is the Country Manager of Pureprofile NZ, with over 20 years’ experience in market research across NZ and APAC, Martin is a Restech evangelist, his experience includes running some of the first online projects in NZ with using a free samples panel in the days of online infancy, to heading NZ’s Smile City online panel and then founding Research Now’s NZ office, which led to him to moving to Singapore and China as the Head of SEA and China. Martin then moved to Regional Head of Sales APAC with On Device Research, a mobile first, full-service research agency and specialised in adapting industry standard F2F surveys to mobile across APAC. Then for 6 years founded and grew online marketing consultancy Mobicom Consulting based in Malaysia, focussing on digital marketing with a research underpin aimed at emerging markets, such as Myanmar, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia. Martin’s involvement in the research industry has been significant with 6 years as a board member in Research Association NZ, 6 years as Vice President for Market Research Society Singapore, 2 years as Treasurer and also the Conference Chair for the 2012 Market Research Society Singapore conference. Martin was the Singapore representative for the APRC up until 2017 and collaborated with many regional Market Research Societies including running workshops and presentations in many APAC countries sharing his knowledge of online and mobile research in the region.
